Saltcoats were on top in the first half and were deservedly in front at the interval thanks to a fine Ally Patrick free kick in the 7th. min. The second half saw many substitutions and this seemed to change the game in favour of Yoker. They scored in the 51st. and 54th.min to go 2-1 in front. The second was nearly a carbon copy of Patrick's goal for Saltcoats.Despite coming back into the game as the half wore on Saltcoats couldn't find an equaliser.
