Disabled supporters
Everyone should be able to enjoy the match.
Campbell Park is a traditional football ground, and with that comes the challenges of an older venue. But Saltcoats Victoria is determined that being a traditional ground should never stand in the way of being an inclusive club. We are taking real steps to make matchdays welcoming and accessible for everyone.
Where we are today
Campbell Park is wheelchair accessible, and club volunteers are on hand to help visitors with additional needs. If you would like us to prepare for your visit, please get in touch beforehand. For directions and ground information, see Ground & directions.
Our plans
The club has plans in place to improve access to the ground and its facilities, including:
- Disabled sheltering: a covered viewing area, so supporters with accessibility needs can watch the game in comfort whatever the weather.
- An accessible toilet: a dedicated accessible toilet at the ground.
- Improved access: better access to our facilities across the ground.
Getting it right
We want to get this right, so we are currently consulting with the West of Scotland League disability officers and with local fans who have accessibility needs. Their experience and advice will shape what we build and how it works in practice.
If you have accessibility needs and would like to share your views, we would love to hear from you.
Contact the club to tell us what would make your visit easier, or to let us know before you come along.
