Saltcoats Vics 1–2 Irvine Victoria — SJFA West Region Ayrshire District League, 22 Aug 2012

Saltcoats went into this game with a rather make shift side, and controled most of the game. a first half goal from Paul Monan sent them in at the break ahead and you always felt they needed a second, even though Irvine were only playing in patches.

In the second half Irvine got even on 55 mins with their first attack, and went 2-1 up shortly afterwards. for the last half hour Irvine just cleared their lines and held on, saltcoats huffed and puffed but could not score, you could not fault their commitment and they will have to play really bad to get a worse result.
