Ardeer Thistle 2–2 Saltcoats Vics — SJFA West Region Ayrshire District League, 15 Sep 2012

If ever there was a game of 2 halfs this was it, Lee Munro put Ardeer ahead on 11 mins and that was followed shortly afterwards with a mistake from Lundy when he let the ball slip under him from Reid to make it 2-0 and to be honest it was well deserved as Saltcoats found it hard to get any football going. Saltcoats best chance of the half came from Milligan who was unlucky to hit the bar from 25yds.

But what a difference half time makes, Saltcoats brought on Frye for Patrick and Quinn for Ferris and what a difference it made they totally changed the game and Saltcoats took total control, and they were rewarded on the hour mark when Young tormented Bonner  and stuck the ball away to make it 2-1 for the next 30 mins Saltcoats battered Ardeer but could just not find that goal. That was until Slaven came up for a corner late on won the header and there wasa Young was there again to make it 2-2 followed shortly after by the final whistle. Final score Ardeer 2 Saltcoats 2
