Saltcoats Vics 3–1 Muirkirk — SJFA West Region Ayrshire District League, 13 Oct 2012

By all accounts Saltcoats started this game slowly and were not able to string any football together and it was no surprise when Muirkirk took the lead on the half hour through there number 8, but Saltcoats were not out of this game as there was chances for Jordan Stewart and Joe Young before the break Walsh brought on McIness for Milligan as he was booked. Half time Saltcoats 0 Muirkirk 1.

Saltcoats went on the attack from the off in the second half and were rewarded when McIness was up ended in the box and the resulting penalty was converted by Paul Monan to make it 1-1. Ferris was relaced with patrick on 55mins and Slaven moved up front and with-in 5mins Saltcoats were in front when Slaven fired home, the third goal was worth the entrance money alone when Monan started the move in his own half and played the ball out to Young who went up the wing and played it back to Monan who glanced his header past the helpless keeper to make it 3-1.
