Johnston Burgh 2–0 Saltcoats Vics — Friendly, 20 Jul 2013

Saltcoats matched Johnston all over the pitch for a large part of this game, and were unlucky not to go in a half time one up having a goal disallowed just before the break. the first goal when it came was from a corner and the second from a corner kick for Saltcoats and a quick break out made it 2-0. But it must be said the goals did not come until both teams started to make the usual substitusions that take place on these occasions. Great credit must go to both teams for playing such a good game of football on such a blistering warm afternoon.
