Saltcoats lost this game by the narrowest of margins 3 goals to 2, to a Dalry side boyannt by thier victory in the Scottish the week before. the game was pretty even for the first 10mins or so, then Dalry started to take control and scored 2 quick goals to stun the home team, but Saltcoats to thier credit remained in the game and pulled 1 back on the half hour mark through Davidson, but it was cancelled out when Dalry restored thier 2 goal lead befor the break.

The second half was a tighter affair with both teams looking for the breakthrough, but the defences were holding out well, Saltcoats did get a goal back on 78mins through Hart, to set a nervy finish for the Dalry defence but they were to hold on well for a narrow victory.
