Saltcoats Vics 1–6 Hurlford Utd — Ayrshire League Cup, 19 Aug 2015

Report by Keano

Written by KeanoFor the first 20 mins Saltcoats competed well with thier Premier League opponents but 4 goals from Stewart Kean in the following 20mins put this game to bed, the second half was better from a Saltcoats point of view, but further goals from Brown and Mitchell and a solitary goal from Calvin Smith saw Hurlford run out easy winners. The only down side was the dismissal of Ryan Borris for an elbow on Liam Curran, and the injury to Dolan after a heavy tackle with Weaver. Saltcoats can take much from this game into the league and will no doubt improve.
