Report by Hammy

The Vics made a bright start to this game Young has a shot saved by the keeper which goes for a corner and all the early pressure pays off when again young goes on a great run as he beats 4 Easthouses players to square the ball to Quinn who slots it into the corner off the net 1-0 to the vics 6 mins gone Easthouses get a corner but comes to nothing the vics have a shot from Kilpatrick which just goes over the bar, Easthouses force another corner which catterson saves easily after 12 mins saltcoats then force 4 corners in a row but  to know avail, easthouses break forward and have a shot which goes across the goal which kean puts out for a corner then a short pass back by eas don nearly lets in there big forward but he puts it wide , then after 26 mins a great through ball by Quinn to young who easily slots it passed the keeper 2-0 then a couple of minutes later McClelland puts Kilpatrick in who rounds the goalie but can't find the net as he puts it inches wide, then just before the break Quinn corner falls to Easdon 12 yards out who's low shot finds the corner off the net, to put the vics 3 up.

Half Time Saltcoats Vics 3 v Easthouses Lily 0

The second half gets underway and with the wind know behind them Easthouses make a good start and get back into the game after 48 mins but a bad decision from the ref as clearly at least 3 houses players are miles offside but smith finds the net easily the vics players let the ref know how they felt about that decision as McClelland and young both went into his book, vics had a couple of chances after that from young and then Kilpatrick, but know Easthouses had there tails up kean cleared off the line as they were starting to put on the pressure after 60 mins then catterson in the vics goal pulled off a couple of great saves then they hit the bar after 83 mins then with 3 mins to go Easthouses pull another goal back 3-2 now after a fine drive from McDermott from outside the box with the vics trying to hold on they got caught out as a through ball to there forward was just to quick and as catterson brought him down in the box for a penalty kick also a red card for the keeper so into goals went easdon but up stepped mcqueenie to fire the ball into the top corner of the net in injury time 94 mins to end the game.
