Saltcoats Victoria FC is delighted to announce the forthcoming publication of a new book celebrating the rich history and heritage of our football club.
The book has been written by lifelong Saltcoats Victoria supporter and local football historian Mark Pettigrew, whose passion for the club and dedication to researching its past have resulted in a comprehensive account of the Vics' story through the years.
The project has been produced in two volumes, with Volume One scheduled for release at the end of August, followed by Volume Two later in the year, ahead of Christmas.
This publication represents a significant milestone for the club, helping to preserve the stories, achievements and people who have shaped Saltcoats Victoria FC throughout its history. From memorable matches and notable players to key moments on and off the pitch, the books promise to be an essential read for supporters, former players, volunteers and anyone with an interest in the club's proud tradition.
Everyone at Saltcoats Victoria FC would like to congratulate Mark on this outstanding achievement. His commitment to documenting the club's history will ensure that future generations can appreciate and celebrate the legacy of Our Club, Our Town.
Further information, including release dates, ordering details and the official book launch event, will be announced on our website and social media channels in the coming weeks.
