Saltcoats Victoria Football Club is delighted to unveil six new additions to the first-team squad as we gear up for the 2025/26 campaign. Blending experience, versatility, and emerging talent, these signings mark a significant step forward as we continue to strengthen the team both on and off the pitch.
Craig Breen (29) – Defender / Midfielder
We’re thrilled to welcome Craig Breen to Campbell Park. At 29 years old, Craig brings valuable experience in the junior ranks, having previously represented Ardrossan Winton Rovers and Ardeer Thistle.
This signing sees a reunion, having previously worked with Craig when he made the move to Ardeer from Winton in his younger years. Known for his composure on the ball and strong communication, Craig will be a reliable presence in defence or midfield.
“Craig is a great talker and very composed on the ball. He’ll be a fantastic addition to the club, and I’m pleased to be working with him again.”
Dylan McLintock (29) – Attacking Player
After a long-standing interest in his talents, we are delighted to finally bring Dylan McLintock to Saltcoats Victoria. A dynamic attacker with a gifted left foot, Dylan is comfortable playing out wide or through the centre.
He joins us with a solid pedigree, having previously turned out for Eglinton, Craigmark, and Irvine Vics. His creativity and technical ability will no doubt bring flair to our forward line.
“We’ve tried to get Dylan a few times, and we’re buzzing to finally bring him in. He’s got real quality and adds something different to our attack.”
Callum Mason (30) – Goalkeeper
We are pleased to announce the return of goalkeeper Callum Mason to Campbell Park. Callum previously had a brief spell with the Vics and rejoins the club on the back of strong form in the amateur ranks, including appearances in recent cup finals.
With past experience at Ardrossan Winton Rovers and Irvine Vics, Callum is known for commanding his box and providing assurance at the back.
“Callum has a real presence and leads from the back. We’re delighted to have him back at the club and look forward to seeing his impact this season.”
Scot Havlin (19) – Left Back / Left Midfield
One of the brightest young prospects joining the squad, 19-year-old Scot Havlin, is a versatile player capable of operating both in defence and midfield on the left side.
Scot previously had a short spell at Auchinleck Talbot and has already impressed with his maturity, work rate, and physical presence on the pitch.
“Scot’s a cracking young player — a great talker for his age, tough in the challenge, and confident on the ball. I’m excited to see his development this season.”
Ross Agnew (25) – Centre Half
We also welcome central defender Ross Agnew to the Vics. At 25 years old, Ross adds further strength to our defensive line.
Having played for Irvine Vics, Ross is a composed and disciplined centre half who will bolster our options at the back heading into the new season.
Rian Eaglesham – Right Back / Centre Midfield
Completing our latest round of signings is Rian Eaglesham, who joins the club after a spell with Glenafton 20s. Rian has trained with the squad over recent weeks and impressed with his energy, tactical awareness, and adaptability.
Capable of playing at right back or in central midfield, Rian brings further depth and competition to the squad.
Looking Ahead
With pre-season fast approaching, we are thrilled to have these players on board as we build towards a strong and competitive 2025/26 campaign. Everyone at Saltcoats Victoria welcomes Craig, Dylan, Callum, Scot, Ross, and Rian to the club, and we look forward to seeing them in action at Campbell Park soon.
